Will holds a B.S. degree in zoology from his home state university (University of Maine) and a Ph.D in Biology from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) and is a current Postdoctoral Associate at the Michigan State University Kellogg Biological Station (KBS).
His diverse research interests span lake and other aquatic ecosystems, agricultural ecosystems, and cow rumen with special emphasis on building a better understanding of how specific taxa within microbial communities interact and how they effect greenhouse gas emissions.
